In 2014 I published “Summit Success: Training for Hiking, Mountaineering, and Peak Bagging” based on 8 years of my own training, with the generous input of several hundred of my most loyal social media followers. The Incline Treadmill Workouts were the most favorably received, and the best logistical choice for my readers, so in 2018 I created “Rucking Simple Treadmill Training Program” an introductory manual to building your own Weighted Backpack Incline Treadmill Workouts. These two books have been my perennial best-selling books since they were each released.
I guess I’m not that up on social media viral sensations, especially on TikTok, so I had to receive a Google News story to point out that there was something going on right this very minute with an incline treadmill workout. Being a pioneer in the field I thought I would compare it to my own workouts as published in the two books listed above, and while the pace is a bit faster than I would recommend, especially to a brand new just-off-the-couch client who primarily wanted to burn fat, it seemed to fit in right at Week Four of my “Adjustment Cycle” program from Summit Success.
With all that in mind, I want to know what you want to know. I created this brief survey to allow me to put together my thoughts into a cohesive plan moving forward to allow me to continue my role as a pioneer in incline treadmill training.
