Can You Use Stryd in the Snow? Check this out …

My plans for Saturday changed suddenly when I needed to give my wife and daughter a ride to the University of Utah gymnastics meet that afternoon. My wife asked if I could do Olympus in that time. I doubted it, but figured I could do Grandeur, a peak at the junction of Wasatch Blvd and I-80 and much closer to the UofU campus. Standstill Traffic on I-15 in Salt Lake City It had snowed a lot in the few days previous. Salt Lake City was nearly shut down by the storm. I checked Strava and found that some groups had already been up Grandeur that morning, so what the heck,…

Zwift Cycling 10 Volcano Laps and Zwift App Feb 4

After getting logged in to Zwift I show you how I select a route and get started. Then we go a full lap of the Volcano Circuit in Watopia. I check in a couple times from the route and finish at 10 Laps. Then we get to see the app in action as I scroll through my results and save them to Strava. Finally we get to check out my Specialized Camber Comp set in my Wahoo Kickr Core as I swap out my Selle SMP Drakon seat for the boys’ Specialized Henge. Good stuff. Zwift Running and Stryd Sync Feb 4

Got on the treadmill this morning with Zwift Running and Stryd footpod to work on this week (#5 of 8) of the Cyclist to 10k Training Program in running. I spend quite a bit of time showing the Zwift App on the iPad and Companion App on Droid working together. Then I show how to sync the Stryd Footpod with the Styd Droid App. Finally we put the Stryd footpod in the charger for the day. Want More? Zwift Cycling – starting back in the groove – Feb 3

I hadn’t been cycling very much in the past couple weeks, working hard to rehab my knee and protect it so I can at least run and ski with my daughter. This was my first ride over 13 miles in a bit, and I somehow managed to cut loose and test my maximum wattage, earning the coveted 600 Watts Plus achievement. I was toast after this one, for sure. Stryd footpod – unboxing and pairing

I got my Stryd Footpod today and took a moment to open it all up, charge it some, then pair it to the Stryd App on my droid. Sorry about the sound sync – this was shot on an old PC webcam and the video and audio were way off. Powered by WPeMatico

Stryd Footpod on the Stryd App – VK Training Feb 1 2019

Is it possible to set the treadmill to 3.2 mph at 22%? Stryd tech support said “go for it” and here I am testing it. First in the video though, I am wrapping up my Zwift Running workout for the day during which I explain how I blew out my knee, blaming to some small extent my Wahoo Kickr Core for being hit by the EMP, an old Kinetic Road Machine with an old Canondale CAAD8, a catalytic converter biting the dust, the UTA Frontrunner horrid schedule and there I am – blown out knee.
